CRASH and bash removalists and delivery teams have left a trail of damage at hundreds of homes.

Smashed or dented tables and televisions, scratched polished floorboards, gashed walls and ripped and stained couches have turned moving house into a nightmare for scores of Victorians.
Consumer Affairs Victoria complaints data reveals most gripes involve damaged or lost goods, suspected theft, sneaky overcharging and hidden costs to clear Customs.
Rogue removalists taking up to double the quoted length of time to shift belongings and then charging extra were also hit with compensation claims.
Documents obtained through Freedom of Information reveal the watchdog handled 303 complaints against the removals, freight and storage industry in the past two financial years.
